A friend of mine-one of several who have recently passed away-would always end up sitting at other people's table in a restaurant. Very friendly, not eating their food, or drinking their drinks-just talking about himself and all his world travels. Some were impressed while others were put off. It happened at every single restaurant we wen to . Especially if there children with the other diners. He would talk to the kids, ask them about school, joke with them about his own kids, at least the grand kids he could remember -in the last few years he suffered from dementia and then onto Alzheimers. His wife didn't seem to care and thought it was funny about how he would simply get up and walk over and sit down with unknown diners.
