but to me the Partridge Family, and some of those others, were not gimmicky at all, or faddish... they were GOOD... quite talented, and quite creative.
That was my kids era... although it sounds like you're inbetween the ages of my kids and mine. So my kids were VERY young in the 70's... two born post 1974... HOWEVER... I lived vicariously thru them with all those shows you mention... and I loved them. - JamesJM
