I'd like to field that question...

How a Disney guy came to write a crazy horror story.. I've found that, within myself I write pretty upbeat, anthem type songs.. get the blood moving, fists in the air type stuff, but deep buried within me I can write SUPER dark songs.. I have a way with writing stuff that just conveys sadness.. I don't do it all the time, but its THERE..

Also, as you know, a LOT of comedians are usually extremely depressed people.. Quite a few have committed suicide, so even tho the funny stuff is what they project, the dark inner stuff is there and sometimes it just takes over..

My theory is that people who can go pretty positive in one direction, can also go just as far in the negative side, if pushed, or allowed.. "Just a theory I happen to agree with" (Jaws).. or actually theory I made up..
