Reminds me of mid-town Manhattan at lunch time pre smart phone era. It was important that no one made eye contact. And you had thousands flipping their eyes down at their watches.. . .So things there aren't different. Merely different mechanisms.
I'm with you. I've had the same phone (old school) for 11 years now. I did advance somewhat with texting capabilities. But, I don't need a smart phone. I'm not away from the house that often (especially now) where I have my PC and laptop.
