Not sure about second favorite song (maybe Smoke on the Water... I know, I know but I love it... or maybe Jumping' Jack Flash). Also Probably no specific 3rd favorite band but probably the Beatles.

I really like the Police. They would make my top 20. Pink Floyd, NIN, A Perfect Circle, the Stones, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, AC/DC (Bon Scott version preferred), RATM

David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Beck, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Hendrix, Eric Clapton

Rounding out my list (I must be at 20 0r 30 now lol) would be Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, the Who, The Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Stone Temple Pilots, The Yard Birds, The Damned, Alice in Chains, Red Hot Chili Peppers... maybe No Doubt...

Edit: Ughh. I forgot YES. At one point would have been #2 on the list but still top 20 now. I didn't mention REM. I used to love them but seeing them in concert and then some of their more recents songs have turned me off to their entire catalog. But their early stuff is still pretty solid in my book.
