Schoolchildren aren't the only ones inhabiting a school. There are adults: teachers, counselors, nurses, office staff, cafeteria workers, janitors, coaches, librarians, etc. There are more people to consider in a school than just the kids.
If I understood the article correctly, Mama, school children apparently aren’t carriers of the disease. If that’s true, they are EXTREMELY low risk transmitters beside being safe themselves.

Why deprive untold millions of students getting their education needlessly? As a former schoolteacher, I would think that that would make a ton of sense to you.
