I've told you guys before about the land my family had in middle of British Columbia 12 hours from the nearest town. How growing up I spent my summers there and about the two times I was 6 feet away from a Grizzly. But the scariest encounter I ever had was once when I was fishing. I had caught four really nice size trout and had strung them on a willow branch and laid them on the ground right behind me. Cast out a few time trying for a fifth but had no luck so I turned around to pack up and walk back to the cabin.

The fish were gone. Zero sign of them. They had been less then five feet behind me. To this day I have absolutely no idea what took them. needless to say the walk back to the cabin my head was on a swivel.
