in my opinion, is that ALL they have are jump scares.. there's, for the most part, no really things that make me uneasy or that I find "scary".. Sure, I'll jump out of my seat, but I've gotten so good at figuring out when its going to happen that I'm usually prepared for it - you know what I mean: specific camera angle always give away an immediate jump scare, stuff like that..
Like I said, I remember watching The Nun maybe a year, year and a half ago.. I thought, from what I remember, it started out Ok, but then I don't remember much about it other than a dude being buried alive? Hopefully I'm remembering the right movie.. Maybe I'll re-watch it if I get bored..
We watched a HUMDINGER of a horrible movie last night - Candy Corn.. Don't watch it.. horrible movie.. horrible acting, stupid, over done plot, lousy effects etc.. I always wonder WHERE do people get funding to make crap movies like that? ..and then I think: well, maybe it only cost a few grand to shoot.. lol
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
