after reading your reply and Steve's... the numbness in my legs was most noticeable... but reading your replies it dawned on me, (I can be slow on the uptake), that it was accompanied by lower back pain. I'm pretty tolerant of pain, and ignore it for the most part... so when I wrote that the 'numbness' was first and foremost on my mind... the lower back pain I just ignored. It didn't occur to me the two could be related.
