Are important. . . good to hear that feel you can achieve them.
Question. . . are you not using your treadmill? But, maybe now being used by others in your family. The way you're doing it now is the right way. Outdoors. The training is more difficult. . . but that level of difficulty makes it more efficient.
I did the same with my lifting regimen. . . my goal was not to emulate Arnold. . . I just want to look good in a suit. But I also focused on the exercises with the highest degree of difficulty. As hard and painful they were. . . they were the most effective.
Actually, I had another goal myself, which helped me dramatically. And that was after my amputation I was determined to walk into the Dome for the Rams home opener. And I did.
Before the C-19 hit, I served as a mentor to amputees shortly after their surgeries. And one of the most important things I can impress on them is to establish a goal. Something simple like "I want to be able to walk through Wal-Mart" or "I want to continue my gardening". It makes all the difference in the world.
