Although, I can only think of one "signature phrase" from a show that I can remember ever repeating. . . .that is Gary Coleman's "What'choo talkin' 'bout, Willis?"
I felt sorry for Gary. . . OK. . .the poor guy is at a cocktail party and everybody's pushing him to say it . . ."Come on Gary say it to us.. . . come on. One more time!".
I wonder how many "one more times" the poor guy's had to say that.
OK. . I lied. There is one more, but I can't imagine a situation where it would be applicable in normal conversation.. . . and I'm sure many of you remember. . . "Hi Ho Silver. . . AWAY."
Back to my original thought. . .
At times, I can't remember what I did yesterday. .Yet periodically something comes up and my brain digs deep into its morgue (newspaper term) from decades ago and I have the word or phrase, despite the fact if I needed to really remember something. . .it would be of the least importance under normal circumstances.
