"Achy Breaky Heart" in my humble opinion is the WORST song ever recorded. Sorry to those of you who liked it, I know it was VERY popular.

We used to have that song requested 50 times every gig we played. The other's in my band wanted to learn it and play it so badly they were nearly in tears... I refused. I almost never put my foot down but I had no choice with this song.

Before "Achy Breaky Heart" there was a song recorded by the Oak Ridge Boys called "Elvira"... and I detested that song as well... BUT... my band did learn it, and we played it... over and over and over and over and over.... It was torture for me, real physical painful torture. So when Achy Breaky hit the airwaves I had had enough... had my fellow band members insisted I would have quit the band. - JamesJM
