A can of Raid in one hand, and a stick with a rag tied to the end of it and set on fire.. So highly flammable bug killer and fire directly from the pits of hell..
When I was a kid we used to get a lot of wasp nests at my mom's house.. as you know, from recent posts, I still do in our house.. they fly to the top of the vaulted ceiling where I shoot them with heavy duty rubber bands until I wing them and they float to the ground where I beat them to death with - usually - a Blu Ray case..
Going back to being a kid, all our wasp nest were outside, so I'd get a large pole, tie a rag on the end, soak it in gas, light it on fire, and let the fun begin.. I'd poke the nest with the burning rag, which, of course, caused all 400 wasps to immediately either fly off, or drop to the ground as their wings had been melted or burned off.. there'd crush them by stepping on them while wildly waving the fire stick around triyng to nail the pissed off 100 wasps that were buzzing me like kamikazes.. Believe it or not, I have never once been stung by a wasp..
So, with termites, I sprayed the main areas they were coming from.. thousands of them still on the wooden area and 5-10 will take off at a time to go find new homes to eat.. So, sprayed the area and gave 'em the fire dance as the survivors flew off.. I guess once a kid, always a kid..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
