As you may know I bought an electronic kit last year... Rolands.. so I'm on their mailing list.

Roland has a new kit out... new tech, biggest baddest yet. So I got an "AD" from Roland... and guess who did the Ad? Thomas Lang... most of you probably know him... if you don't he's one of the best drummers out there today... and IMHO the fastest and by far. I was NOT expecting Thomas Lang to promote an electronic kit... had him figured for a 'purist'... only seen him play acoustics.

Full YouTube ad with Thomas promoting the new kit.... mostly talking you thru the new features but he does play a little in the AD.... if you want to hear Thomas Lang, however... don't go to the Roland YouTube... just search for Thomas Lang and give a listen. There's no shortage of YouTube Videos featuring Thomas Lang.

So to put this in perspective... I was surprised because for ME... this was like the Pope doing an ad for Trojan Prophylactics. Well, I'm exaggerating.. but you got my point, right?
