I hate shrimp.. I really do.. I HAVE tried it, don't like it.. the texture, to me, is awful and the taste - I cringe when I think about it..

but, if people are serving, or eating shrimp, they absolutely NEVER will take no for an answer and come back with, "oh you just haven't had it prepared properly.. Here - try this!"

so, I stopped saying I don't LIKE shrimp and now tell everyone I'm allergic to it.. when the few morons who still persist keep trying to make me try it, I just tell them, "ok be prepared to haul ass to the ER".. and that usually shuts them up..
