Randy from the board also suffers from it. We are the lucky 1-2% of the population who can't have wheat in our diet.
No donuts, beer (you know how much I love beer), pasta, pancakes, cake, sandwiches. Since I have stopped eating gluten my acid reflux has disappeared. I had it so bad I developed Barrett's esophagus which can be a precursor to cancer. When I did endoscopes my throat and stomach were severely inflamed. So yes, it is very real and for many of use severely impacts our health.
