ah the days of AM.....

as far as I am from the civilized world we actually had a few stations that came in very clearly. KYNO, KMAK, and KMJ...(probably some others as well).

Reason for that is: I live in the 'flattest' place on earth... radio signals, even very weak ones, can carry a long way. Actually... back in the 60's, 70's, 80's, I used to get the Ram's AM station out of LA... KMPC.... but that was because KMPC was very powerful.

I still listen to some of them but not very often. - JamesJM
