ALWAYS did a GREAT job of keeping me and my Brother even keeled. She ALWAYS reminded us to enjoy the season and NOT get wrapped up in the chaos. But even so.......Usually by the time it all ends, you feel like you have been through a hurricane sometimes. I LOOOOOOVE putting up the lights on the house. I get ridiculed for putting them up so early (OFTEN a week before Thanksgiving) I also get them down quickly (Did that today) With my boys essentially grown, my favorite thing about Christmas time, is simply sitting on the couch and staring at the tree. I like to keep the tempo SIMPLE.
