Frank and I don't buy for each other anymore. We've got so much crap accumulated from 70 years of living that there's really nothing we need or want. My kids... different story. They're grown and living on their own but they are just as needy in their 30's as they were in their teens. Gift cards and/or cash is what they usually get. Everything under the tree this year will be for the grandson. I started buying for him in September, most of it I got online. I don't mind shopping in stores really (except during the Christmas rush when I avoid stores like the plague) but have been forced to buy a lot of stuff online because they don't have the things I want to buy in the stores. I also learned the hard way that if I see something I want to buy, get it then 'cause it may not be there later.
