I think maybe the worst is over.... with possibly a short lapse when we show up in Gunnison tomorrow night.

I'm learning a lot from this - Mason "apologized" to everyone here at home.... that made think, and reflect. We were all thrilled for him, planning trips, congratulating him... perhaps I should have spent more time making him understand it wasn't 'football' we were celebrating... it was his success... in being accepted to college, in working hard both athletically AND academically. In taking on the responsibility of being on his own and doing his best for his future.

Well I'm out of here. Early flight to Denver tomorrow morning. Wanted to fly to Gunnison, even though it's expensive, but the layover made it a 24 hour trip.

Good news - my Sony noise cancelling headphones came in so I'll have them on the plane and won't hear myself snoring... to hell with the other passengers.
