neither he nor us here at home have any thought whatsoever that his 'life is over'.... he was blessed to make DII football.. he knows it, we know it.
The 'sad' comes in mostly, I think, because for 6 months now he's been working his ass off to be ready. Running, weights, practicing his routes.... he worked out with one of those altitude simulator masks, (high altitude), to prepare for the 7,700' elevation of his new football field... and did so well at it that on Monday, during the fitness test, he came in 2nd in endurance after having been in Colorado for two days.
It's not a 'life over' situation.... but it's still a heartbreaker... but HEY.. maybe the X-Ray's tonight will tell a good story? - JamesJM
