yesterday while watching Toy Story 4. He was in tears of laughter. I liked Toy Story 4 a lot.. even though I thought it started slowly. I LOVED watching my grandson and sharing the laughter with him.
When I was growing up Fresno, like all other cities, had several movie theaters... magnificent. Very elaborate and ornate. All of them are out of business today as far as 'movies'.. a few are still open for special events, such as concerts.
The one I went to the most as a kid was the CREST THEATER.... probably the first one to go out of business... and over the years I watched it's facade fade into disrepair. The Crest, like all of them, continued to open occasionally with special events... and they even reopened for Mexican Movies for a long while. Anyway...
Just recently they had a special event, I forget what, and a few of my friends went... not so much for the event but to see the interior of the Crest once again. They tell me it has aged internally nearly as badly as externally BUT... with a bit of imagination once can still see the glory that she once was. - JamesJM
