The coldest place I ever lived was Chicago, cause of the wind off the lake. That's famous, that wind off the lake. I would get ice in my beard just from breathing.
The hottest was Louisiana. A hot humid Louisiana day was like getting hit with a wet mattress.
The in-between-est was San Diego. SD always seemed to be 72--winter, summer, spring, fall.
I like Maine. To my tastes anyway, southern coastal Maine is rarely ever too cold and rarely ever too hot.
