Shang-chi ; Master of Kung Fu

Who the hell is Shang-chi , the Master of Kung fu you're probably asking yourself................lol

He to ...., will be getting his very own MCU movie here in the near future

Shang-chi ; Master of Kung Fu was a popular comic book back in the 70's

he is basically Marvel's version of Bruce Lee

back in the 70's , when every kid in America had a Bruce Lee poster on his bedroom wall and a pair of homemade nunchucks made of sawed off broom stick handles stuffed under his bed , and also all those late night low budget Chinese kung fu movies that were so popular on TV back then , even David Carradine's Kung Fu Tv show was really popular at the time

Well , Marvel not wanting to miss out on the popularity , created the comic book character Shang-chi ; Master of Kung Fu , a basic clone of Bruce Lee , and it had a pretty good run in the 70's and early 80's , but then , just like the fad , slowly faded away ,

When I was a kid , mostly all I ever bought / read was Spider-man , but I usually bought my comics at the Red Owl grocery ( anyone else remember Red Owl grocery stores )

anyways .........

while I was a little kid waiting for mom to finish grocery shopping , I would go over to the magazine rack and read their selection of comics , so even though I never ever bought any Shang-chi ; Master of Kung Fu comic books , I would often read them right there in the store................lol

so even though I never owned any Shang-chi ; Master of Kung Fu comics , I do have plenty of memories of the character , and even though he hasn't had his own on going series in many many years , he still pops up from time to time in other's comics , namely the Avengers

so now ......

with the success of Marvels first black lead super hero movie in Black Panther , and the first female lead super hero movie in Captain Marvel

now their going for China , with Shang-chi being Marvels first Asian super hero

and I'll say , I'm actually looking forward to this one , I think this one will bring something new to the MCU , always loved those old 70's kung-fu movies , the Asian underworld , Chinatown , etc

The Hands Of Shang-chi , The Master of Kung Fu , coming to a theatre near you , ............in the near future , ........eventually ,
