The best exercise for weight loss is something I probably wouldn't recommend for you as it could be a bit too physically stressful .especially on your knees . but you might consider lowering the tempo a bit. . . while maintaining the same regimen.
It's called interval training. What you do is up your tempo for a time to a hearth-throbbing point. . . then drop to a "cool off" stage. . . repeat several times. You could start on a steep hill setting. . . then lower it. for the "rest" phase. That's far better than the constant.
Oh. . . and those crab legs dipped in butter aren't going to help. LOL
