he sent me some photos and it was incredible how much snow there is.
Waterfield... question: Not for this year but I am thinking about buying some new skis and getting back into it. Problem is: Last time I bought skis the skis were RADICALLY different than those sold today. I looked at some of the new skis and I'm completely lost.
Of course, I could go on a google research quest but that would be work... and I have you.
I'm looking for old man skis, (not old style)... I don't care about speed anymore and in fact don't want speed. Fat and out of shape I want something easy to ski... quick turning but not too quick. Any suggestions?
Last pair I owned were Rossignol's... 205's but I was an advanced skier 'back when'... today I just want to ski from top to bottom without killing myself or anyone around me. I hear that with today's skis 'normal' is much shorter than the old days.... like a LOT shorter. True? - JamesJM
