The problem with pets is that they can't really tell you if they are in pain or not or their feeling good or not, etc. We can only hope to detect signs that seem abnormal. Personally, I'm a poop fanatic (that's what my wife calls me). I check on Pepper's poop every day-and I mean a close inspection. That's where all the waste and bacterial is. If she hasn't pooped in a day or two or it's really loose I'm in a fit and feel like I need to go see a Doc.
