I may have told this last year. A few years ago my wife and I agreed to babysit our two grandchildren and their two cousins. We promised them they could stay up to see the ball come down in Times Square. The time comes and the countdown begins. As the ball gets close to the bottom they become more and more excited never having scene such a spectacle before. For them this was the real deal-the way adults celebrate the N.Y. But then-just as the ball is almost at the bottom the channel switches to a cartoon. Little did we know that the house we were sitting in had pre recorded the cartoon. Well-all hell broke loose with all four kiddies screaming and crying and running to different places in the house. That lasted for quite some time. They blamed us and wouldn't talk. When all the parents came home later they asked how was it? My wife calmly said "we had an issue".
