or wow, I guess it has been a long time... my band played every NYE. Perhaps 1974 until 2000 or so?
Today my NYE is mostly coming out of my bedroom every 20 minutes or so and screaming at my guests to "Keep It Down".
Now I'd like to say that I have a HUGE blessing in that tomorrow morning I'll wake up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed while everyone else is moaning in agony... but unfortunately I NEVER wake up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed anymore and IN FACT - - and probably without taking a single drink of alcohol I'll wake up feeling worse than all the youngsters who finished their last adult beverage 20 minutes before they wake up.
