Its hard to believe that these aren't still popular

When we got them in the mail IIRC I would race to get it. And then I'm pretty sure I spent most of my time between then and Christmas reading it and circling items and reading and re-reading an re-re-reading and so on... If my daughter had one of these she would be doing the same thing.

What might work is a Christmas Book with multiple stores. I mean my daughter likes her iPad as much as any kid but I watched her look at her American Girl Doll Store "wish book" for several weeks. I think something tangible, that you can write on or circle stuff has an appeal to it. Kind of sad that she doesn't get that same enjoyment that I did when I was her age.

Sears (I thought they were closed) is putting out the Christmas book again I think (as of last year?). And Walmart has a "book" that is just toys... but it is kind of lame. Maybe I will get a Wish Book for her this year.... if they actually print them.
