I haven't changed oil in my new JD riding mower... it's brand new... BUT... you do not change the oil in the 'old fashioned' way. You simply replace the filter. The filter comes with the new oil...no draining involved.
Since I haven't had to change the filter yet, and since it comes with the oil already added, and since it's a JD... I have to admit I'm curious about what they cost. I think a very conservative guess would be about $23,999,999.99
