I don't know. Yes their world is far different than ours and of course we think they are missing some of the stuff we experienced. While we used to "hang out" with our friends they do the same-they just do it through video games, and social media. We like to say "But your missing so much". However, to "miss" something you have to know about it. Assuming they don't but their "happiness" and sense of "well being" is the same as what we used to think ours was-whose to say one is better than the other ? It's a different world and its so hard for us to related to it. Quite possibly they have every bit as much fun playing a video game with someone across the continent while inside their home than I do when I'm surfing or out diving. Like I say-we (meaning me) come from a different time. If we grew up with social media we likely would be just as addicted to it.
