That song give me chills whomever sings it, (well, when a great vocalist sings it)..... Aretha's version is one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen. "soul" is the best, perhaps only, word that describes Aretha's voice. Many vocalists sing notes, and sings them extremely well.... Aretha added that something extra... her voice was 'alive'... it transcended mere sound waves traveling through the air. - JamesJM
