a meteor that had broken in two. Was the trajectory close to the same for both?

I have seen, more than once but very rarely, a meteor break apart and split into two.

Colors... it's been my experience that those meteors that seem to move more horizontally across the sky are usually 'aqua'.... while those that seem to enter more vertically can vary... most often, for me, green... but occasionally red or bright orange. That's probably just my circumstantial observation... not scientific.
