actually, I'm not sure anything is NOT staged. However... I agree with that it is without question 'grueling'.... wild beasts, poisonous creatures, creepy-crawlies or not it would be TOUGH.

I saw one episode of Naked and Afraid. As an avid outdoorsman I admit the show caught my attention... putting myself into their situations. It was fun... but by the end of the show I had seen enough.
