I watched "Coach Carter" a couple of nights ago... at the request of my grandsons. Ever see it? Good movie. Anyway... there was an 'unresolved' issue in that movie that bugged me... that being - the response of most of the school board members AND parents.... who opposed Coach Carter.
I'm not sure who is mostly pushing this: School Administrators? Parents? Someone else?
Has to be parents who have visions of college scholarships and professional contracts in their heads.
Never seen Coach Carter. Have to check it out.
