they have the whole love story and how she thinks he's dead and she falls in love with best friend (which could be a whole movie in itself), etc and then you think the climax is the attack on Pearl Harbor
then they have the whole Doolittle raid after that which is very long
just watched it again a few months ago....it's ok, but it is what it is....a fluff movie during war, not a Dunkirk, Saving Private Ryan type war movie
