Yeah, my mom..

grew up in Germany during the war and had amazing stories of being bombed and strafed and on and on.. A bomb went right through her roof all the way to the basement, but didn't explode... My grandfather was a Colonel in the German army and was captured by the Russians and spent 3 years in a Russian gulag - they only released him because he contracted shingles.. I think I've mentioned all this on the board, before.. several times lol

Anyways, I made the mistake of showing her our new big screen surround sound setup by showing the beginning of... Saving Private Ryan.. My head was in the wrong place - thinking about the amazing surround sound, not the fact that she lived through all that..
