Guys..This morning, I lost my Mom. She passed peacefully in a Hospice Center. She battled hellish back conditions for most of the last 20 year. Her spine was so contorted, it affected her digestive and bowl tract. Her last 5-6 years were mostly bed ridden and in absolute misery. I was so glad I was able to remind her of what a ROCKING Mom she was before she became unresponsive 2 days ago. The news today made me cry at first. But devine intervention kicked in rapidly. I felt an awesome sense of peace knowing she is free of pain pills, Pain "Management" Drs, 24/7 misery etc. I know she is with my Brother. His passing absolutely devastated her. I never thought of a day when I'd lose my Mom and then have a peaceful and easy feeling about it. God is great!
My Mom passed in 2012, while she wasn't in the condition your Mother was, mine couldn't breath well enough. I watched both of my parents pass right in front of me (Dad in 1994) and they both got to hear me tell them I love them. Your Mom like mine won't have to deal with pain anymore and that gave me peace of mind.
There is pain now but good memories will help to comfort you.
God bless Gator and may your Mom rest in peace
