I've posted before that when I was anywhere from 7-10 years old, we'd walk from my mom's house to Gibsons or Sears downtown, which was a good two mile walk, to buy toys.. mostly GI Joe stuff (Which I actually still have) but every now and then we'd buy something big, like a min pinball game, and struggled mightily carrying it home.. But, those times were the BEST.. we'd use the money we EARNED from a paper route, to walk two miles to buy what we wanted, then walk two miles home with it..
...and, man, did we APPRECIATE the stuff we bought, since we went to that much trouble to get it.. Kinds nowadays barely walk to the bathroom.. it won't surprise me to hear that millennials are having catheters implanted to they can pee wherever they are and not hafta bother with it..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
