I'm a bit of an anomaly when it comes to technology..

I'm currently building Virtual Reality simulators for the Air Force.. I mean, what could be more high tech than Virtual Reality simulators? ..and I can tell you, without a doubt, they are amazing and after spending 8-9 hours a day building them, the lines between reality and Virtual Reality are beginning to blur for me.. but, knowing that, as you know, I:

Don't own a cell phone
Couldn't text you to save my life
GPS - huh?
Don't own a printer
Have no Siri - who's Siri?
Have no smart home - its dumb enough with me living in it
Own two cars - 1980 Triumph TR7 Spider and a 2010 Nissan Frontier.. Neither has computer, that I know of.. neither has electronic locks or windows.. I hafta hand crank both on both cars
Pretty much use my iPad as a paper weight
Couldn't even control The Clapper properly


I did, however, just buy a new Samsung 8000 TV and a Samsung 4K DVD player, both with smart remotes.. I am AMAZED that now when I play a DVD I don't hafta change the source input - that it automatically changes for me... I do LOVE changing channels by vocally telling the remote what channel to go to etc.. and, yes, I DID tell the remote to go F itself and its reply was "stop that immediately - that's rude" or something like that.. but I had to try it and did giggle at the response..
