Yesterday I did not see the game, live that is. My grandson played his final regular season football game at Monterey Peninsula College. We spent the night... Monterey has always been perhaps my favorite 'coastal' city - although today the 'crowds' make it almost unbearable. I was texting sstRams and Ramsrule during the game. So anyway...
Photos say it best... the ocean is glorious. We spent the day exploring tide-pools, climbing rocks, listening to the waves rolling and crashing on shore.
Exploring the Tide Pools. We ignore the numerous "BEWARE" signs saying we're going to be swept out to sea then eaten by rabid octopus.
My oldest daughter's family
My youngest daughter's family. Gavin, in black, the only 'football player' in my family still 'alive'... playoff game 2 coming up this Friday.
My one every decade selfie (don't use Facebook much anymore but I posted this one because everyone thought I had died)
Sydney looking for seashells to make a necklace.
Linguini - Calamari - Clam - and Octopus - and some wine of course. The clam chowder in a bread bowl was Sydney's.
