our choice in flavors being quite different... except for maybe 'cheesecake', which is great... although I get it VERY seldom.
The all time WORST flavor, my guess is you'll love it, is "Bubble Gum". Never tried "Birthday Cake" but I hate plain white Birthday cakes. BTW... Bubble Gum, Birthday Cake, a few others... I have NEVER ordered... just took a taste when my grandkids ordered them.
Ok... I just sent a text to my daughter to get the 'name' of an ice cream we ADORE... she's teaching her class right now so it may be a while.

Ok, she's not answering.... her priorities are all messed up, thinking 2nd grader's education is more important than an Ice Cream thread.
In San Franciso my daughter went to an ice cream shop... I think it's a very popular one in SF although I've never been there.... then came home with the recipe and had us try it. It was simply DEVINE... scrumptious. For me, that is, and my daughter... but the rest of my family? They hurled.
It's Chocolate Ice Cream with Olive Oil and Salt.
Nope, not going to try and convince you.
One other ice cream note: This was in the 70's and I was at a dinner show starring Fats Domino... in Reno, Nevada. I order desert... a big scoop of vanilla ice cream with a VERY healthy shot of cognac poured over it. I had never heard of a hard liquor on ice cream. It was FANTASTIC. Hard to explain, and I don't know why this is, but the cognac actually fits perfectly on ice cream.. it's not like drinking a shot of cognac... it compliments the ice cream. Really, I swear it.
