I have the same hearing issue James. I haven't experienced it at the theater yet. But at home, I'm constantly turning the volume up & down. I'll have it up listening to the dialogue.... and then suddenly BOOM!..., the action scene hits like an atomic bomb, and I can't turn it down fast enough. really sux.
