Get it? I'm not used to the expression, VERY common in football today. I had to ask "What in the hell are you talking about?"...
When a receiver, or RB, or QB, put a move on a defender and fakes him out of his shoes the kids say "He broke his ankles".
Good news... he didn't finish practice 'cocky'.
One of the kids from our rivals Chowchilla is a defender and my grandson said he 'destroyed' him on a tackle.
