I actually like the moving going experience... a LOT. As a farmer, and now retired, I could choose my time so I never dealt with crowds. I have very few 'loud audience' experiences.
Today I watch nearly all 'new' movies on my TV, once they are available - and while there are benefits, conveniences, I don't think it compares to the theater. One of the major benefits of the theater is that the women in my family can't go running to the projection room and scream at them to "TURN THE SOUND DOWN" like they do me in my home.
When my family is gone for the day I never fail to put on a good movie with good sound effects and crank my surround sound up... of course, when I do someone ALWAYS shows up at the door and wants to 'chat'. I hate 'chatting'.
