Three days until The Mummy opens

And Universal still has it's Review Embargo going

Normally , this is not a good sign

But , I think this movie has a few twists and turns that their trying to keep under wrap , so , I'll give them the benefit of the doubt

My hopes are high , my expectations , are a little lower , weekend box office predictions still has Wonder Woman as the number 1 film

Universal did have a couple new announcements yesterday that The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Phantom of the Opera will also be joining the Dark Universe , along with Dracula , but no casting announcements were made

But rumors are that Dwayne Johnson will be The Wolfman and Angelina Jolie will be The Bride Of Frankenstein which will be next film in the Dark Universe , directed by the guy who just did Disney's Beauty and the Beast

They also mentioned that the new Creature From The Black Lagoon will take place in the Amazon , which , considering that's where the original takes place , probably doesn't really sound like news at all , but with todays Hollywood , and the fact that they are not changing the Creatures origin , is what's actually news worthy..............lol

So for better or worse , I will give Universal credit , they are bring in "A" level talent
