In high school I'd say..

Kiss Alive, Framton Comes Alive, Boston, Cheap Trick at Budokan, AC/DC were all party favorites.. That was the 70's..

In the 80's things changed quite a bit.. All the bands being signed were ALL pretty much doing party anthem type tunes.. Whitesnake, Poison, Ratt, Cinderella, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Dokken, Guns n Roses, Motely Crue, Warrant, Slaughter... they were all putting out party music and I can't really say there was one LP that stood above the rest..

I'll think about it some more and try to narrow down at least an LP per decade!
