In the first 24 hours of the trailers release , it was viewed 200 Million times , the most ever for any trailer in a 24 time span

That means it had more views then any Star Wars trailers , Beauty and the Beast , Fast and the Furious , Avengers , any of them

But what makes this news worthy for me anyways is the fact that those movies I listed about are all hugely success films right now

But Stephen Kings IT , is a 35 year old book that a a whole generation of young people have never even heard of it , and what's even sadder , a lot of them hadn't even heard of Stephen King

I brought this film / book up at work the last couple days , and I was shocked at how many under 25 had never even heard of it

I mean serious ????

So when I read today , that it broke the record for most trailer views ever in 24 hour span , , I was pretty surprised , and that even includes all the Harry Potter films , I was pretty surprised

And with Stephen Kings IT being a R rated horror film , that's quite an accomplishment
