One guy did all the swimming scenes and another was used for land. Look it up. While filming the scene where he's carrying the girl through a cave, she smacked her head on the prop. Years ago, I found a site that showed people on set tending to her. Also, the second CFTBL flick......When he grabs the girl in the restaurant and jumps into the river....That was filmed on the St Johns River right in the middle of Downtown Jacksonville. The restaurant was the old Lobster House. It burned down in the late 60s, I believe.
